For many of us masticating and swallowing are activities that go as a matter of course. For seveal frail elderly persons the consumption of food can be an everyday challenge. While in their sunset years and faced with dignified aging can a personalised nutrition concept contribute to the health and well-being of elderly consumers facing swallowing and/or masticating difficulties? The 14-partner consortium of the €3 Mil. EU funded project PERFORMANCE aims to answers such a question.
